Also, and in semi=chronological order of service:
My great uncle X3--Grand Army of the Republic (union army), Civil War, Michigan artillery.
My grandfather and his brother, my great-uncle, U.S. Army, g-u received purple heart.
My uncle (mother's brother), Tech. Sargent, U.S. Army Air Force, tail gunner and radioman in bomber in Pacific Theater
My uncle (my Dad's brother-in-law), PO1, U.S. Navy, WWII.
My aunt (mother's sister), Captain and Flight Nurse, U.S. Air Force, Korean Conflict
My uncle (my aunt's husband), Captain and Pilot, U.S. Air Force, Korean Conflict.
All are gone now, but I hope to see them again in a better place.

I had 2 uncles who faught in Vietman. It must've been hell on my grandmother.
