I mean, on the bloody button.

They'd hit him, and he'd go crawling back. What was really telling: He didn't try to suck up to nice kids. Only to the bullies. Because he was like them, but didn't have enough brainpower or initiative to come up with any of the bullying himself.

I now realize he was a beta psychopath, if that makes sense. The things I can tell about the evil things he did as a kid...
