We're well familiar with his "kind," well before 16. I'd say I would have pegged him as a tedious-yet-creepy wanker when I was, oh, 12, as would most of my peers of the same age group. It was only girls who weren't so bright, or who had serious self-esteem issues, who showed any interest in obvious misogynistic creeps like this one.

Women learn fairly early how to spot his type, because our survival depends on it. That's not an exaggeration. They're a danger to us, and nobody is on our side if we suffer consequences for, well, anything, but especially not if we get involved with the wrong sort.
