Mother Of Teen In Citi Bike Video Speaks Out: 'No One Bothered To Ask Him What Happened'

237. I see a woman sitting on a bike.

I see a young man invading her space, with his hands on the bike. I hear her say "get off me!" He moves in closer. His arm is across her belly, grabbing at the bike. She says "You're hurting my fetus."

I see the video jump several times. I see her swatting his arm away. I see other young men surrounding her. It's not clear what's happening with the cell phone because the video has been edited and there are gaps.

I see her put her head in her hand and sob, seemingly in frustration. After another jump cut, she gets off. I hear another young man call her "bitch."

The voiceover reporting is outrageously biased. The reporter states that "we don't know what happened before..." but numerous voiceovers make strongly biased statements assuming fault on the part of the woman.

Try turning off the sound and watching. Remember she was assigned to this particular bike. She didn't choose it.
