Unfortunately, borderline personality disorder -- one found in Cluster B -- is rather immune to treatment, including interventions. In fact, interventions tend to go in the opposite direction than intended. Those with BPD tend to place blame externally, and to cause far more suffering for those around them, than for themselves. Thus, an intervention will result in their identifying the "problem" as everyone else, and demanding that everyone else change to meet their often impulsive (and repulsive) needs.
