16. The term doe not have racial ovetones

when you consider it originates with an African story of an African hero trapped by a "tar baby". Other cultures have similar legends. Just because the term is used in a racially insensitive manner does not mean that it cannot be used to refer to this situation. It is the right analogy for the situation.

I will not stop using words like cracker and spook because some use them in racially insensitive ways.
