(2,791 posts)I hope you get to more games in the future. And that you actually see a win!
I remember that Monday night game - it was ugly. I remember Pittsburgh fans cheering for the Browns that season. I remember the old stadium, even though I only went to maybe 2 Browns games there, and a few Indians games. What I really hate is that the Jake is not the Jake any more - and the Gund is not the Gund. Progressive Field? Quicken Loans Arena? What the hell is that?
But basketball was my sport, I was a Cavs fan for many years, season tickets, first row (until they put the boxes in front of us at the Coliseum - dammit!). Going all the way back to the old Arena. Screamed myself silly during the Miracle years, suffered through Stepien, got my heart broken over and over by the Lenny Wilkens teams (loved our choir boys). Vomit every time I see The Shot - they still show it sometimes around playoff time. Finally had to give it up when the price topped $ 75 per seat (and when they fired Mike Fratello - that pissed us off). It's waaaay beyond that now. Which means I was spared the whole LeBron era. Thank God.
I remember the Drive and the Fumble and...
Cripes, hope springs eternal. As the saying goes, ya gotta be tough to live in Cleveland!
