(22,127 posts)I don't live in Utah, but it's my understanding that it's a very red state, which means most people there vote Republican. There's nothing I or anyone else here could say that would change that.
Utah is also heavily Mormon. Marie Osmond is probably one of the most famous people in Utah and one of the most famous Mormons in the U.S., if not the world. It's hardly surprising that people in her state, most of whom are Mormons, would be interested in the opinions of someone who is both a native daughter of their state and a fellow Mormon.
There's nothing I can do about any of this. Not my circus, not my monkeys, lol. (And no, I am NOT calling Mormons monkeys or comparing them in any way! It's a figure of speech meaning that this is a matter completely outside my purview.)
