(8,387 posts)Im not sure that it is understood that they believe the educational establishment to be the Nazis.
Their whole schtick is based around the idea that public education consists of indoctrinating children in what they portray as oppressive ideology. So, yes, they intend the Hitler quote as a warning of what they perceive the other side is up to - which is what Robinson was specifically addressing here.
Their perspective is incorrect, but neither he nor they were citing Hitler with approval.
Thats not helpful to the social media outrage generation machine, so its simpler just to say THEY QUOTED HITLER.
Sure, they removed it, which is a lot simpler than spending the rest of their lives explaining that the quote was meant as a warning about what they believe their political opponents are up to.
