Complaining about swimsuits with extra crotch protection for girls? Hmmm.
As for the rest, who cares? If it doesn't sell, they wouldn't carry it. Niche items, like many of the ones they complain about, are sold online, not at the stores where they won't sell.
Target is in the business of selling stuff. And collecting buyer metrics. If they can accurately determine if there's a pregnant person in a household based on purchases over a couple months, they can accurately determine what will sell and what won't at a particular store.
