He apparently has not renounced his right-wing terroristic leanings. Keeping him in prison is a wise move.

This woman who neglected her baby... she's not a threat to society. Keeping her in prison isn't going to teach anyone anything. Most mothers are going to be far more attentive to their newborns than she was. And any mother who is going to be negligent isn't going to be scared into being more diligent about her newborn by seeing the penal consequences of being negligent.
