for an attorney to be making this kind of statement to the media just before the GJ is to decide the matter before them?

I kind of feel like this might jeopardize the attorney's client legally. but hey, I never went to law school.

but it does seem rather odd and risky.

so, i'm a tad skeptical. at the very least we shouldn't presume this is true and repeat the story as if it were until the story is confirmed by the facts as they actually unfold.
