Coventina, I’m so sorry you’re struggling. Definitely call your doctor. If your injury was painful and pain was not adequately addressed, it may have impacted the quality of your sleep. I also have trouble sleeping when it’s hot even with air conditioning. Just being sleep deprived will worsen my depression.

The heat is brutal and the humidity has started rising. It’s not always a dry heat in Phoenix. Usually by now we’re seeing some relief from the monsoon moisture to at least cool down the roof and outside walls of the house. But we haven’t seen a drop of rain in Gilbert since April I think. I just had saguaros planted this winter and organ pipes moved three years ago so tonight I’m going to give them a misting with the hose. I lost my 17 ft saguaro two years ago after a scorching dry summer and I don’t want lose the new ones. Ya know it’s bad when ya gotta water your cactus. But, I know the heat will be over soon because Costco already has Halloween costumes out!
