(983 posts)The biggest thing is to keep hydrated, that cannot be stressed enough.
"Cold" movies is also a good idea.
Is there a pool anywhere near that you can use?

This is Phoenix in the summer. Ice cream is not dessert, it's a survival mechanism.
But I'm a cook, so I will confess to being more than a little biased. Maybe make your own?? The process can be a distraction with a reward at the end, so it may help from "both" sides, psychological as well as physical.
If making ice cream is too much for you (process or quantity), a sorbet or a variation of Italian Ice could be an option. Possibly just put some frozen fruit in a blender with some ice cubes and maybe milk (of your choice).
Don't surrender. Fight back. Maybe a little research for some recipes and ideas can be enough of a 'break' to get started. If you're not doing classes, do some self-care.
When I get too wrapped up in my problems, getting into a project can help. Do you have anything that's just hanging around that needs to be done? Maybe just some planning and 'thinking about it' can help.
