They could do some damage, but the inner pyramid is granite. The amount of time it would take for anyone to level them would be years and there is not enough man power or money outside of the whole of Egypt that could accomplish the destruction and they don't have it. It's not like in Timbuktu where a bunch of guys with guns break down some doors and wreck stuff. It's not like the Buddhas that were destroyed that could be easily brought down by their own weight. The structure and geometry of the Pyramids would make it almost impossible without massive long term effort. No one would or could pull it off. No one would let it happen considering the time it would take.
