once a president but now a four-times indicted criminal suspect — running again to stay out of prison; and Putin, once considered a cunning puppet master in control of trump, but now a war criminal who made a huge miscalculation in invading Ukraine, whose future in control of Russia is now tenuous with the likes of Prigozhin and his Wagner group forces still at liberty in the country to do who knows what.

In a year we'll know better of the fate of these pretenders.
