36. NG is worse than coal

Aug 2023

The escaped methane from production and shipment offsets it's lower CO2 emissions.

And the sulfur emissions from coal, while causing acid rain, also helped cool the planet by reflecting solar radiation.

Natural gas doesn't get a free pass.
