(29,503 posts)29. I don't think Obama does either - yesterday, I giggled
when he responded to that question, "I think Gov. Romney did an excellent job ... with the Olympics." It wasn't a joke, but I think it was an attempt to subtly downplay the idea that Romney can really contribute anything to the Democratic agenda going forward. Obama, ever the class act, did this politely, even though of course, Romney will never be what one can call "a class act", unless that class is low.
