2. I know it's not nice to speculate, and I mean no harm here, but

if she is over 60 years old (not sure of her age) the rates of Alzheimer's disease are very troubling for all those over 65. It really shocked me when I learned the statistics about that. My godmother and my FIL have both been diagnosed with dementia recently and so I've been learning what i could about it and it looks like a real epidemic among those who are older, unfortunately. And from what I've seen and learned so far, that kind of thing could be a very early sign of impending dementia.

Again, no disrespect intended towards her, just thinking out loud.
