The ratings bump was very short-lived & their own publicly available income statements show there was no major enhancement of revenues, margins, or profits.
He was intentionally hyping the situation to try to actually create the money train he was claiming existed.
And, he knew it was, at best, a wild exaggeration. What most of us call lying.
