If real 'Islamic terrorists' tried to take power in Turkey (even if they were elected fairly), the army would remove them before you could say Molly McButter.

That being said, it's interesting that they reacted this way. I wouldn't be surprised if there are political figures in Turkey who say the same thing about Obama and the American government.
