30. My theory is that these are kids who dropped out of school due to COVID.

I've heard that up to 30% of the children in my city's school district never returned to school after the COVID shutdown in spring 2020. These are children of families who didn't have access to broadband and so their kids couldn't easily connect to virtual school.

Thousands of 13-15 year old boys who dropped out of school in 2020, they're now 16-18 years old and haven't been in school or worked for years. Crime wave.
