17. I was severely and negatively impacted by yesterday's event

I had a plan to rile up my dumb MAGA co-worker. I had a set of speakers hooked up to the laptop, and Michael Jackson's "Thriller" queued. When the emergency alert came, I was going to twitch, jerk a little, hit "Play", then twirl into a probably pretty bad rendition of MJ's dance moves. But a hearty rendition nonetheless.

All for naught, as he was summoned away on a call about a half-hour before alert time.

Sigh. All that planning...
