What the hell does this mean: "Inflation has been decelerating faster than Fed forecasts, but continued strength in job gains will fuel doubts that the pace of deceleration in inflation will be sustained." Too many people working and taking care of themselves means that inflation has to be goosed so they lose their jobs? I wonder how many workers could remain employed if Ellen Zentner lost her job? Wouldn't that be good for the economy?

Or, maybe everyone could keep their jobs, and we take a good hard look at oil prices which are soaring for no apparent reason. But higher gas prices affect practically every sector of the economy, while company executives pocket 11 figure quarterly profits. Wouldn't it help out everyone if oil company greed was reined in? Or is that just too obvious it doesn't bear mentioning by the economic wizards?
