The holding of two contradictory beliefs in one’s mind at the same time. An absolute requirement for life in an authoritarian society.

Knowing that two plus two equals four, but accepting, seeing, that it equals five because the dear leader says it

Knowing an election was won fairly and honestly but accepting simultaneously as fact that it was stolen because that’s what your trump-humper fuckstick zombie-cult leaders tell you to believe.

I don’t think they’ll have much problem with this contradiction at all.
