(744 posts)If the GOP was even half-normal like in 2012, which it felt they weren't even normal back then, I think Biden would face some long prospects in 2024.
For whatever reason, America has soured extensively on him and while I think he'll likely win in 2024 because of just how bat-shit insane the GOP has become - I don't think it'll be in support of him.
He just doesn't seem to get any credit on anything.
To another poster, I linked to a poll about Ukraine where it showed that Americans supported pretty much EVERYTHING Biden was doing in response to Russia's invasion.
Yet when they asked Americans if they approved Biden's handling of Ukraine, 36% said yes and 52% said no.

The article sums up what I think is a real problem:
I think we'll see the same with Israel. They'll support what Biden is doing but the second they're asked if they support Biden, they'll say no - they won't have his back on this. For whatever reason, Biden just doesn't get credit for anything. No matter what he does. No matter how often Americans actually agree - when his name is attached to it, they disapprove. I see no reason to believe it won't be the same with Israel.
They'll have America's back on what America does - but they won't have Biden's, despite him literally being the guy ordering this response.
