In reply to the discussion: President Biden, a grateful nation stands with you. [View all]MyNameIsJonas
(744 posts)44. Yeah. You really didn't refute what I said.
In fact, you pretty much reaffirmed it. Americans likely agree with a lot of what Biden is doing in general terms but they're not giving him credit for it. I already pointed out Ukraine where Americans were given a list of things Biden was doing and they generally approved but when asked straight up if they approved of the job he was doing in Ukraine, a majority said no.
Biden is not getting the credit for what he's done. I do not expect that will change with Israel. I don't see his approval going up and his polling improving after these events.
That doesn't mean he won't win in 2024 but there's olenty of evidence to suggest Biden isn't popular despite Americans supporting a lot of his policies.

Just off the top, I think you might take a broader look at the map of America's reality.

Oh I think he'll win in 2024 but I'm being honest with the state of things.

Pretty sure you're not clear on how much Americans, esp. youth, agree with Biden & Democrats.

I got the spirit of what you said. Credit is nice. But it's the votes that will give Biden credit.

You've been insistent here beyond the spirit of this thread. Sorry that you feel frustrated, but

Only the one part you want to insist on emphasizing. Your map is not the territory.
