5. My daughter is 23. She told me all her friends had voted and voted for Obama.

I've talked to her about the fight to keep the right to have the last word, indeed, total sovereignty over her body. I've told her about the women's movement and how hard we've struggled and for how many millennia women have been considered property. We've talked a lot about the right to choose and how under seige it is. She told me all her girlfriends voted Democratic, and she added - "don't worry, Mom. We get it."

MADE ME SOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!!!
