Carolers in calories out is much more important. Sure you can cut carbs for while on a diet to help shed pounds a bit quicker but for longevity carbs are very important in pretty much any peer review study and what shows up in blue zone diets.

Yup, Veggies have fiber that also make it "slow carbs" that don't spike your blood sugar. nt

Not exactly. The culprit is mostly simple carbs that get metabolized too quickly.
