They know there's no country - or even a group of countries like BRICS - that could possibly depose the dollar as the currency of international trade and transactions (particularly in the third world - where it's usually preferred to their local currencies).

Only one group of people could: Republicans themselves- through their antics and reiterated attacks on the faith in the dollar.

You'd almost think they do it on purpose...
