2. The RU has been throwing considerable troops and equipment at this fight

(much like Bakhmut previously) but they have made very little movement and have lost a considerable amount of troops and equipment. The Ukraine forces say it is a challenging situation, but at this time is not critical. While RU seems to be putting all their efforts in that area, while further south the Ukrainians have crossed the Dnipro river and made progress there and other areas.
