Guns are good, easy to get, and the value of lives is less than the sticker price on the gun.
Ain't capitalism grand? 
Let's ignore that the rest of the world, mostly, tries to keep guns out of the hands of civilians.
Unless of course you live in a war zone. Then every able bodied man needs his guns.
Does that make America a war zone?
