First, come 1980, people I’d known (or thought I knew) through the 70s suddenly were high on “Morning in America”

I was horrified at Reagan going for POTUS in 1976, and by 1980 it was clear that the bitter ex-Nixonians were going to install an imperial Presidency with RWR as the figurehead.
