(878 posts)Israel was leaving Hamas alone until this latest round of missile launches.
Shooting 200 missiles into another country is generally considered an act of war.
and yes, Hamas provoked this latest round of Israeli retaliation.
Maybe instead of investing in missiles and weapons of war, maybe Hamas could invest in basic infrastructure like hospitals and schools and stuff like that.
But no. Hamas wouldn't even stop firing when the Egyptian Prime Minister was there.
People die in war. Its a fact of life.
--Lesson to be learned: actions have consequences.
Oh and one more thing. Its kinda silly to be complaining about civilian causalities when Hamas only fires at Israeli civilian targets. Israel is massing troops and armor on the Gaza border. There is a military target right there. but no, Hamas still fires on civilian targets.
--I don't think Hamas leaders are all that smart.
