6. Huh. The article no longer refers to the "rate" of crimes. Now it refers to the the "number" of crimes.

Also, someone in the comments questioned their use of "rates". It looks like the article was changed.

It would definitely make a difference. At a glance, it looks like Detroit's population is now the lowest it's been since the early 1960s.
