16. "The Moslem world"

The phrase "the Moslem world," using an older spelling for "Muslim," may tend to homogenize a highly diverse group of people and cultures. The Muslim community is composed of individuals from vastly different ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and national backgrounds, each with their own unique practices and interpretations of Islam.
