Austin isn't as liberal as it likes to pretend. Plenty of misogynistic right-wing loons live there.

You've surely heard of Alex Jones? Austin was the city that made him famous. It's where he got his start. He still lives there and still has massive support there.

And you think this woman will be safe in a place that has such strong support for Alex Jones?
