I knew both Nick and his Mom. Nick always was an opportunist and my only real run in with Lauren was in elementary school where she accused my kid of using foul language against her kid. Let's just say, what my kid called Nick was justified and far from the language I heard her kid use. I laughed it off at the time.

Nick was elected HS class President because only kids on student council were allowed to vote, and only certain types of teens were interested in being on student council.

Still amazed that the kid I knew got, and is still getting, National attention for being a racist.
