17. What if they're not from another planet or star system?

What if they're from another dimension? Another reality? Another universe?

What if they're from here, on earth, or from another time?

No one seems to know -- and that includes people who say they have knowledge about what Uncle Sam and all the Top Secret files at CIA hold.

As for what we human beings are in the cosmic scale of things: we are a lot more remarkable than some see or know. Otherwise, could we even discuss this fascinating question?

Arthur C. Clarke observed: “Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”

Perhaps there are more possibilities than two. Perhaps, as the panpsychists believe, our minds "manufacture" or conjure the future universe. That may be the most terrifying possibility of all.
