They don’t look over your shoulder to see if the bottle is empty.

Now, if you’re like me and collect #3 and smaller machine screws, great.

Little Altoid boxes are better for storing small parts, because they lie flat.

As for sewing needles, get one of those plastic boxes with a magnetic pad inside.
