If he turned out to not be competent enough to go to trial, wouldn’t they just install him in a hospital prison like FMC Devens until he was judged either competent to stand trial or he died?

There is the SLIGHT possibility that he’s acting nuts in an attempt to get out of charges, but I fear the truth is that he really is irreparably damaged.
