Now it's the poor oppressed skinny people? really?

I am currently in the fight of my life, for my life, to get my weight down. In the meantime, I endure either nasty looks or I am ignored, I prefer to be ignored. Even when I go to the gym I know what people are thinking and saying about me. Society says I am not allowed to be seen as a woman, a sexual being and if I try to dress up or make myself look sexy in anyway that just bring ridicule.

You really cannot compare what skinny people go through to what heavy women go through. We are shamed every day, told to hate ourselves everyday, told we are ugly, lazy, worthless. Mostly when I leave the house I am hoping to just be ignored long enough so I can run my errands and get home. I try to go to the Y when it is least busy to avoid being an object of scorn while I sweat on the treadmill.
