Bravo to him for doing so...
But it was politically motivated on his part, and one which had no capital taken from him to do so.(the church obviously will be used against him anyhow being that he is divorced and a democrat, so it don't hurt him as there was no loss on doing so politically).

Made him popular.
But it doesn't hold true to his real person.

(and wiki can be edited since I last read it months ago. Now that Andrew is considered a 2016 run, most people scrub their wiki's.)

And it is a phony denial, much like Ron Paul denied the vile stuff in his campaign stuff.

The buck stops there.

And while Koch ended up being less liberal later in life, it was a vile smear on him and might have caused him to lose that race.
Anyone in NYC at the time (and i was) knew of that smear and knew where it came from.

If Andrew runs in 2016, it will become an issue.

And of course i back 100% gay marriage world wide. Not just in NY or the US. Everywhere.
And I would vote for Andrew if forced to in 2016 as I only vote for democrats or those that caucus with them. But IMHO, the real andrew is the one who resorted to doing anything to help his father win.
And that is unacceptable.
