Police saying the shooting was criminal, i.e. a beef, not specifically targeted at parade goers. Victims were in the wrong place, wrong time.

Claire McCaskill added the detail that MO's gun nut gov skedaddled with his security detail as soon as shots rang out. Doing his best Josh Hawley imitation apparently.
