85. They are being told to say this

During the recent morning meetings at my husband's job, the associates are being told they anyone caught speaking out about their job, their hours, the holiday schedule or any strike talking points will have immediate disciplinary action. They have been told to use social media to spread the word that they are very happy to work Thanksgiving and Black Friday and that they think they receive a fair wage from Wal-Mart, yadda yadda. A big show was made of the fact that one of my husband's co-workers, another department manager, called into a local radio station to say that the workers were very happy and that they love this time of year. And yes, I know some workers honestly are happy to work these few days. It's just that the ones who are unhappy have been instructed on what to say.
