Yeah, give ammo to republicans for thinking democrats are anti business.
Great idea.
If that was true, i'd certainly rather be a republican.
Thank god democrats like Barack aren't practicing your form of misery. The only difference between your attitude and that of the exploitive and antisocial businesses out there, is that you practice a far less effective version of it.
Your philosophy is like ayn rands, only worse.
At least only caring about yourself is somewhat good for society, despite the host of negatives that come with not also caring about others.
Your philosophy is the worst kind of evil. The kind that is practiced "for the greater good".
"Let's all stop purchasing products because if one company is bad than all companies are bad!"
I assume you live in a house you built yourself, eat only food you grew yourself, don't have a cellphone, don't have a computer or the internet, dont drive a car, etc.
Otherwise, your philosophy only seems to apply as an excuse to not do generous things for your friends and family.
How about, VOTE WITH YOUR DOLLARS STUPID!
Try supporting the millions of businesses that are pouring their heart and souls into products that are socially responsible, and provide lots value to others.
Or, we could live in a society where everyone knows how to do everything and everything is mediocre because no one is willing to exchange their own passionate and skilled value creation for the value creation of others.
God, partisan politics at this level just make me sick.
The one thing that conservatives are right about is that we should certainly be deeply concerned about creating a good environment for business.
What they have wrong is the idea that we shouldn't use laws to restrict businesses from exploitation and provide incentives for SOCIAL capitalism.
I shudder to think of what it would be like to live in the world you'd create if you had the power to.
A world where there is no reward for having vision, creativity, and great skill/talent and providing others with things they need and want in life.
Well, at least you've proved that it's possible to have a democrat scrooge.
Perhaps you can at least serve as a warning to other democrats that the key is balance, and it is certainly possible to become too extreme a liberal.
It's very easy to get unbalanced when you live in a purely partisan point of view.
