Our family, needs absolutely nothing.

Every closet...every drawer...every nook and cranny...is jammed. In our house...my sister's house...my niece's home...my nephew, well, he could probably use some "stuff"...is full, full, full. I say it over and over and over...don't get me anything (and my birthday is semi-near Christmas)...if there is something that I really, REALLY need (not just want), I'll let you know.

So no one listens...I get "stuff"...and gift cards like crazy (at least some have listened when I said, if you're getting me "stuff", make it a GC for the grocery store!).

I would much rather, take my monies and donate or make purchases of items that people that do NOT have closets/drawers/sheds/garages that are jammed with "stuff". I do donate some but not as much as I could...if I weren't giving gift "stuff" to family.

One of these days....
