When Turtle shot that down, many did not realize that Garland was a pretty conservative choice to begin with, put forward to appease the growing corporate monster on the right. That gave Garland the name recognition he needed to be brought forward and confirmed as AG -- by Biden voters, because why would Barrack and then Joe nominate someone who wouldn't support Democratic (small and large D) principles?, and by the Russo-fascist GOPer party because, why wouldn't they want a deep-rooted Federalist in there to stop progressives in their tracks as we tried to prosecute Rump and the other criminal heads of the Jan. 6 coup (who were part of the confirmation process)?
LESSON: Do NOT Appease Fascist Bullies!
