Just that some relief has been seen. But know that wages have increased 24% over that same time period.

But human beings don't think in those terms. "Oh, things are more expensive, but I am making more money so I don't care", is not a normal thought process. Mainly because people think of prices as something being done to them and earnings as something they themselves are responsible for.
