Pres. Biden needs to address grocery prices and rent

Although President Biden has apparently been addressing the issue (?) I haven’t seen any of it. And I pay attention. Nor have a whole bunch of folks out there if social media is an indicator, which I believe it is. People will vote with their wallets and their wallets are really hurting. No one I know has gotten a raise that some folks here on DU are talking about. The economy might be good but it’s not showing up in people’s paychecks. If President Biden or Vice President Harris has to call a press conference every week to address this they should. The media ignores them but if they addressed it on a regular and public basis they can’t be ignored forever. The message that they’re trying to do something about it would get out there but they need to step it up now because they’re running out of time. If they think maga isn’t going to pound on this closer to the election, they’re mistaken. And hurting people will listen to them.
